About Us

Wyre Memorials was established in 1989, in Fleetwood by Alfie Hopton. After learning his trade as a young boy he went on to own one of the most respected companies in the Fylde and Wyre. Alf passed his knowledge onto John Wilson, who now owns the business and who is one of the last remaining masons to be able to hand letter memorials.  We are also very proud to have on our team, Pat Berry, previously of Cookson Memorials, with over 50 years experience her expertise and dedication in memorials goes without question.

Wyre Memorials are a small, dedicated company who endeavour to create a lasting tribute perfect for your loved one.

We pride ourselves on our level of expertise, and the quality of our memorials, preferring to use the finest Indian granite.

 

 

 

 

Our smaller showroom is located on Talbot Road in Blackpool. Customer parking is available at both locations, however if transport is difficult, evening home visits can be arranged.

We have a large showroom in Fleetwood with over 80 memorials on show, this is also the location of our workshops where you can see first hand memorial work in progress.
